When we first met Scott and AJ, we just knew that they were going to have such a fun and amazing wedding. The minute that they told us they were getting married on Halloween and having a costume wedding was the minute that we knew that this wedding was going to be such a blast to capture and be apart of. And we were thrilled!
Scott and AJ waited quite a while for their wedding date- they specifically wanted it to be on Halloween so they waited until Halloween landed on a Saturday! Both of them love everything having to do with Halloween; AJ especially. AJ said that when she told her family and friends that their wedding date was to be the 31st, everyone agreed that that suited them perfectly!
And boy did they go all out! There wasn’t any detail that was left out. Everything was decorated tremendously and was perfectly decorated for the holiday. They asked all of their guests to come in costume, even the bridal party! This was such an incredible idea and everyone looked amazing. We loved that their entire bridal party embraced the theme and we loved the costumes that everyone came up with. Not to mention all the guests who started arriving in costume as well!
They said their vows at The Windemere located in Mesa, Arizona. Jason and I were there all day to make sure to catch every detail before and after this couple walked down the aisle. We were also lucky enough to steal the bride and groom before the ceremony and we headed to a nearby abandoned hotel to snap some pictures of just the two of them. Not only was the setting perfect for them and fell into their theme, but it gave them a few minutes to spend alone before the ceremony.
This was such an incredible wedding to be apart of! Everybody who attended the wedding ate, laughed, danced and had a great time. We had so much fun photographing this wedding, and these are only a few of the pictures to prove it!
Scott and AJ, we wish you the best as you start your married life together! We loved getting to know you through this time and we are honored that you would ask us to be apart of it. Congratulations again, and we hope you love these pictures!
