We met up with The Specks first, and started our shoot with them a little early. They loved a location that we had used before and we were so glad because there were a lot of elements to use there still. Bre, her husband Kyle and their handsome boys, Cole and Cade, were ready to go right from the moment that we met up with them- full of energy and looking amazing! And these boys were definitely your typical boys! They had so much energy and loved getting into stuff and playing in the rummage. But they were also very well behaved with us, listened to us and we got some fantastic shots! This is one beautiful family, who we found a lot of inspiration from while photographing them! I think the pictures will speak for themselves…

After we finished up with The Specks, Jami’s family and Jami’s and Bre’s parents showed up for the last half of our shoot. They all wanted to get some shots of their entire family since everyone was in town, plus some shots of the grandparents with all the grandkids. It was a fantastic time and this whole family is very, very special. You can tell they love being with one another and that they always have an amazing time. We were laughing throughout the whole shoot!

You can tell they love being family with one another very much. And family is what it’s all about!

What a joyful bunch of troopers the Lindbergs were on an absolutely glorious November day. Overcast skies lent Jess and I soft natural light and every so often the clouds would part to give us just a short-lived glimpse of golden sun falling between the rooftops.

For several months, we have been trying to nail down a date to hang with Jami and Mike and their gorgeous little gals Hannah and Sophia. We had a heck of a time, because of busy schedules and some last minute rain checks, but we finally made it happen and we’re ecstatic with how this shoot came together! The girls look radiant and colorful with their custom-made flowers in their hair. Colors are popping ya’ll! You may remember Hannah and Sophia from the Baby Mae Couture shoot where they showed in all their little model splendor and melted the camera with their cuteness.

Jami has been a one-woman campaign for Session Nine. When we first started out, she loved our work and proceeded to share the goodness with all her wonderful, and just as nice, friends. So we owe a lot of gratitude to her for being such a promoter for our art!

Downtown Mesa provided us with some amazing textures like a beautifully forsaken blue wall, tight alleyways, and a garden of carefully aligned bushes. We think it fit the Lindbergs perfectly.
