These two have been great friends of ours for years. So of course we were stoked when they asked us to photograph them! We have known Alex and Ryan since before they were married. We have seen each other through a lot of good and hard times and they have been there for us every step of the way. They both have the hugest hearts and love taking care of people, encouraging others and blessing people with whatever they can and whatever they have. They have been such an example of what it looks like to genuinely think of and put others first. We love these two very deeply!
This photo shoot really captures them as a couple. They have a love for the arts and for architecture, so there was no better place to head for these pictures than down town! We started our photo shoot at The Burton Barr Central Library. We received special permission prior to our shoot to photograph inside the library, and we are so happy that they allowed us in! This library is huge! We had so much fun wandering the halls with Alex and Ryan to all the different amazing spots that so brilliantly fit their personalities.
Our second stop was at Alex’s work, the American Institute of Architects Arizona. We were so inspired about this place and the way it’s designed. We had a lot of fun with different props including a fun sheet of fabric! Alex was bursting at the seams with ideas for this shoot, which was great because she truly is such a creative amazing person.
Alex and Ryan, we hope that you love these pictures! We had so much fun with you on that morning and would love to do it again soon!
