The Ibachs- Lifestyle Session

Well Jess and I are finally beginning to see the light at the end of this crazy busy holiday season! It’s been a fantastic time of growing for us as artists and we’ve gotten to meet some terrific new friends at our shoots. We’re super excited already for 2010 and what the year holds in store for Session Nine. Heck, we’re already booked through February! We’ve been extremely blessed beyond our imagination…

Amidst the business of shooting and editing a grip load of sessions, prepping for family at Christmas, shopping, Christmas service music band rehearsals, and simply making time to spend with each other, we had the grand pleasure of taking shots of these lovelies…the Ibachs. It’s one of those sessions that simply comes easy. The character and beauty of who they are shines through the camera with little effort.

Andy and Amy along with their kids, Zach, Kylie, and Rylan were poppin against this grungy old railway station. (We hadn’t yet been bitten by the “railroad nazi”…haha, that story is yet to come once we post the Anglemyers…stay tuned.)

But the evening was relaxed and wonderful as we meandered through the urban landscape, laughing and talking about things like how little Rylan is such an amazing soccer player for his age and how he actually had just gotten through healing a broken arm. The poor little buddy at one point in the shoot fell and busted up his hand on the rocks, but he came through in tremendous fashion once he cried it out a little bit, haha. We talked about Kylie’s love for dancing, and Jessica and her quickly related seeing as how Jess was a dancer for years. And all things high school and “big brother” with Zach who is enjoying his time at Hamilton High.

It was a slow and rather methodical time together, which helped produce some great moments. Andy and Amy were terrific and gracious people and the kids were joyful and cooperative…which in the world of photography definitely helps! We’re excited with the time we spent with the Ibachs and the images shine through perfectly!

Now, with no further ado…
