What does a gorgeous young married duo, an awesome painted “direction” sign, and three crazy rowdy dogs equal? One of the craziest shoots we’ve done so far and some ridiculously fun pictures!
Jeff and Eryn Berry contacted us about capturing them a couple months back, and Eryn told us that she really wanted to have their three dogs, Jack, Dharma and Scrappy, in some of their pictures. Can you blame her? These dogs are like their precious babies to them! Haha, we happily obliged but didn’t quite realize until we got there how much character and energy these pups would bring! Especially Dharma, their young golden labrador who I swore, at anytime, was going to rip Jeff’s arm off his body and go gallivanting into the city on his own adventure. Jeff and Eryn wisely had Jeff’s sister there at the session for doggie duty once we started shooting just them together.
But Jess and I absolutely loved that the Icards brought their canine buddies with them! They provided some great laughs and kept us all on our toes.
We walked around Scottsdale and made our way in and out of side streets and small cafes, along some canals and beautiful high-rises. Good community and great fun. We all had a blast posing the dogs, climbing into chest-high wild grass, getting to know one another…even watching Jeff scoop up the occasional dog dropping! It was not hard at all to select a ton of images where Jeff and Eryn were beaming smiles from ear to ear. You could tell they enjoyed each other and their life together.
