We were so glad we met The Longs. They had scheduled with us weeks prior to their photo shoot, but we all woke up to cloudy skies and lots of rain on the actual day we had planned. Anticipating that the rain would let up we attempted to keep our meeting time, but once 4:00 rolled around it was still raining pretty hard. We felt so bad, but we had to reschedule with this adorable family! Luckily, they were available the very next day and so were we! So we woke the following day, praying for no rain. And that’s exactly what we got!
The spot we picked for The Longs ended up being perfect for them. Very simple and not very much to it, as to allow the three of them to pop right out of the pictures. Their son Will was such a busy little bee! He is a very smart little boy, as Sheila was telling me all about what they are teaching them and how they use Bible stories in their every day to help him learn and grow. He had a lot to say and did so well with us!
Until…
He got a little bit to curious and jumped (and then slipped!) into a huge muddy puddle that was leftover from the rain the day before! He ended up getting mud all over his cute little jeans and the back of his shirt. All of us were laughing so hard because this is exactly what Sheila had predicted would happen! Luckily, she of course knows her son so well, so she had another pair of jeans in the car to change him into. So a quick trip back to the car was the trick and we were back to photographing them.
It was a great time with this gorgeous family. And here’s the pictures to prove it….
