It’s beginning to look a lot like…well you know the rest.

Christmas! The glorious season that we all cherish is here once again. Full of light and a certain magic and family and hope, this is definitely our favorite time of year. We kicked the season off right with a little session with some great friends of ours, the Smiths. Chad and Christina are just good people. Super gracious givers. Laughers (yep, I just made that word up). Oh yeah, and they look supa fly in front of the camera.

And let’s not even mention Jake and Brody. These two little fellas are heart breakers.

We got to hang and shoot the Smiths earlier in the year…you may remember this. The previous shoot went down in July and still holds the record for “HOTTEST SHOOT EVER” at a whopping 116º! Needless to say this session with them was a little more comfortable. We meandered and spent some time around a local resort spying locations with hard-space along with a hint of natural ambiance. I think we scored some sweeeeeeet spots, even stumbling upon a nifty green chair that fit right in on the fly.

The sun drifted to rest and we broke out the holiday cheer with some classic Christmas lights…

Jason – “Heck, why don’t we just wrap em up in the lights”

Jess – “Ok!”

Christina – “Ugghhh…you’re choking me with the cord…”

Haha, that’s pretty much how the scenario went down, but in the end the images worked wonders. And so did this fantastic family. Love these guys a lot! We capped the night off with some fabulous Mexican food along with horrible service at Macayos. The service was so bad we got dinner for free!

And free food will always make a good day a superb one.
